a brief introduction
After almost thirteen years of tattooing full time, I have recently renewed my interest in painting. Through years of art school and many years beyond that, I have always drawn and painted a great deal. If you look at the work in the archive, though, you'll see that all of my previous paintings are mixed media works. This past year, for the first time in my life, I began painting on canvas, with
just paint. It has been an exhilaratingly strange and difficult process, but it's been very exciting to re-invent my work again in this form. Look for more to come soon.
